FormaPure Total Workflow Steps
FormaPure Total is a single chemistry that isolates both DNA and RNA from single FFPE samples. The chemistry is designed and optimized for use in next-generation sequencing (NGS) and other PCR-based assays.
Flexible extraction kit suitable for manual or automated workflows. The method can be run on a variety of Biomek platforms that offer mimimal hands-on time: 30 minutes for 96 samples; 5hr 45 mins runtime for a 96-well plate.

NGS performance starts with RNA integrity. Fragment analysis shows FormaPure reagent kits retain the best possible RNA integrity even with 10+ year old tissue blocks.
FormaPure RNA isolates RNA with superior integrity. Fragment analyses were performed with RNA isolated with FormaPure RNA (blue traces) and an alternative method (orange traces) from four different FFPE sample types. All extractions were performed with one 10 μm curl. DV200 values are presented for each of the chromatograms. DV200 values represent the percentage of RNA fragments > 200 nucleotides.
